Other than that, I can tell you that I am not the magician in Portland and not the NFL defensive end (as you might find if you google me) nor am I any of the 3,375 other Aaron Smiths in the United States … but I am a Seattle-based attorney … if you want to define me by my hobbies.  I like to get out and do things and I’ve always found that bringing my camera along for the ride helps me be a bit more observant of what’s going on around me.

About the Photos: With thousands of photos on my computer, I was  just hoping for a way to display a few of them. I consider myself very lucky to have been able to experience all of these stunning and fascinating places.  I currently shoot mainly with a Canon 60D but these pictures come from various types of cameras – some even from 2-megapixel point-and-shoot cameras.  If you’ve got more questions about what I look for when I’m taking picture, just email me. I don’t do much by way of post processing.  Most of these are basically just as they were shot.  There isn’t photoshop or HDR or anything like that involved (no Instagram filters!). Basically anything I do to these doesn’t take me more than 5 seconds in iPhoto.

Watermarks:  I really hope that these don’t take away from the viewing experience. While testing out this website, I had a few people express concern for me “losing” my photographs to anybody who wanted them, so, I ended up with a hopefully subtle watermark.

The photos here are my own original works … that being said, please send me an email if you wish to use any of these on your website.
